Join us for a poetic taster session inspired by French philosopher Gaston Bachelard. His beautiful writings on fire, water, earth, and air will be our springboard for imaginative poetic games and shared creative time. The session is led by Lucie Rivet, a published writer with two master’s degrees in philosophy from the Sorbonne. Lucie offers workshops weaving philosophy and poetry – and has a passion for making complex ideas beautifully accessible. All readings and activities will be in English – no French required! Come and let yourself be inspired by the philosopher of the four elements, and leave with your own crafted poems and the memory of a warm, playful encounter with language and imagination.
