This two-day workshop is for those who have done a bit of print making but want to refine their practice, expand their knowledge and delve deeper. Each Saturday we will explore various forms of printmaking, especially relief printing, e.g. Lino, wood, cardboard, polystyrene prints, plus monoprints, stencilling etc. Please bring photos and/or drawings with you that you would like to use as inspiration for your prints. It is best if these are in more than one colour either of A4 or A5 size. Wear/bring an old shirt as printing can be messy. We will provide some inks, plates/blocks, tools, paper, materials and the use of a press (cost included). Please bring your own lunch each day, tea and coffee provided. Diane was formerly an HoD in Art and Art History and an Education Officer at the Christchurch Art Gallery where she still guides and occasionally teaches. She enjoys making stuff.
