Almost Acoustic: CWEA Fundraising Concert

The Deen Coulson Project, led by CWEA tutor, Global Voices – Choir Director and local musician, Deen Coulson, will perform great live music as part of CWEA’s fundraising activities. So, if you’re looking for a lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon, we’d love to see you at “Almost Acoustic” – a relaxed afternoon of live music, laughter, and original songs.

One of the unexpected joys of working at the Canterbury WEA is seeing the many different ways people choose to support what we do. Some volunteer their time. Some teach. Some donate books to our bookshop. Others simply tell their friends about us. And sometimes, people create something special like this afternoon of live music. As an independent charity, every dollar raised helps us continue to offer courses, discussions and community events that bring people together, encourage curiosity and create opportunities to learn throughout life.
