Simon will showcase recent discoveries about his favourite group of animals, including a spider in Peru which makes spider sculptures and a trap-jaw spider that snaps its jaws 800 times faster than you can blink.
Dr Simon Pollard has a PhD in Zoology and is Adjunct Professor of Science Communication at the University of Canterbury. He has published several books with Te Papa Press and loves sharing his remarkable knowledge of our natural world with others.
