Description

Right and Wrong, Good and Bad.  In recent decades, modern society has seen a resurgence in interest in a range of ancient ethical systems: Epicureans, Stoics, Cynics and more. This course will cover five distinct moral/ethical systems, their ancient context, their evolution over the millennia, and their modern versions. We will also reflect on contemporary ethical systems and how they compare to and differ from their ancient predecessors.

Michael Couch has been teaching community education courses for over a decade.
