Zoroastrianism, Sikhism, Jainism, Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism and more... so often when Westerners study philosophy or theology we only focus on the European tradition. In this course we will instead consider several of the philosophies and philosophers that significantly shaped Central Asian history, culture and relations with the rest of the world from the varied region nestled between the Judeo-Christian west and the Dao-Confucian east.
