Join our wonderful and highly experienced teacher Geraldine Parkes for this Tai Chi, Qigong and Hara Body Alignment class. Tai Chi is a beautiful form of exercise developed in ancient China, which is centred around maintaining health and wellbeing. Benefits of practising include improved flexibility, balance, centre of gravity, mental agility and co-ordination, deep relaxation and a calm and focused mind. Master Loo-Chi Hu was Geraldine’s master here in Christchurch and she has been teaching for over 30 years. This is also a falls prevention programme and is suitable for all levels of fitness.
This class is held at the Union Parish Hall on Union Street. Please note there will be no class on 24th October as it is Labour Day.
