Now is a good time to learn how to crochet. In this course you will learn many different crochet stitches, tools required, and techniques you need to get started with crochet; Including everything from super basic information such as how to hold a crochet hook, to how to do a triple crochet. You’ll love Elizabeth’s down-to-earth approach as she teaches you how to make a chain, to do single crochet, half-double crochet, double crochet, triple crochet as well as slip stitch! Learn how to read patterns, work in rows, keep your crochet on track and troubleshoot stitches gone wrong.
For this class you will need a 5.0mm hook and 3-skeins of 8-ply/double knit yarn (approx. 280m) in the colour of your choice. Elizabeth Sheid has been crocheting for over 30-years and sells handicrafts at the Kaiapoi Market on Saturdays. Please note there will be no class on 24th October as it is Labour day.
