        Description

Join us for three quite different perspectives on wartime.

Saturday 15 October – 10.30-11.30am  Voices of War project - Sarah Johnston

Sarah has been researching and collating audio recordings from the front line and will share her findings with us.

Monday 17 October 10 -11 am Pacifists at time of War – Margaret Lovell-Smith

Margaret is a local historian who has spent much time researching the lives and work of those who made a stand against war. This is their story.

Tuesday 18 October 1-2pm Alison's Diary  - Dr Simon Pollard

Alison’s Diary is a family heirloom and a deeply personal account from a soldier in World War 2. At times incredibly detailed, and beautifully illustrated it offers a very unique insight into what life was like on the front line.
