Join Jen at the New Brighton Community Gardens for this introductory look at Ayurvedic cooking. First developed in India some 5,000 years ago, Ayurveda is one of the world’s oldest medical and nutritional systems. It works to rebalance mental and physical health in coordination with mind-body energy types and practitioners believe that an Ayurvedic diet can help optimize health and well-being. Jen is a yoga teacher and is studying Ayurveda with the My Vinyasa Practice School, she will share her learnings and love of Ayurvedic Nutrition.
The session will close with a light seasonal lunch and all costs are included. Please let us know in advance of any dietary requirements. Please bring a plastic bag, large plate, bowl, mug & cutlery as well as a warm jacket so that you can explore the garden. The Garden is located at 136 Shaw Avenue.
