If you have ever found maths confusing you're in very good company. People have been grappling with problems of counting, grouping, and measurement for millennia. We will look at the how mathematical thinking has developed in societies over the last 5,000 years. Through this lens of history we can learn about the maths our society uses. This course is aimed at anyone who is interested in the world of numbers. No experience is necessary, if you can count to 10, you will be fine!
This will be a continuation of the previous course although if you didn't go to the earlier class you're still very welcome, no previous knowledge is needed!
Please note there is no class on Saturday 4th June as this is Queen's Birthday Weekend.
