Description

The use of AI technologies and new forms of military drones and robotics has been widely reported throughout Israel’s assault on Gaza since October 8 last year. This talk will provide an overview of some of the main technologies that have been reported on and offer a critical perspective on their function in what is widely viewed as a campaign of ethnic cleansing and genocide.

Jeremy Moses is Associate Professor in Political Science and International Relations at the University of Canterbury. His broad area of research interest is in theories of international relations, with a particular focus on issues surrounding war, humanitarianism, pacifism, and military technologies.
