Description

During the week where we commemorate the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, 79 years on, Lucy Stewart, Programme Manager of the Disarmament and Security Centre, will speak about why, more than ever, a peace and disarmament approach is needed to address global tensions. The Disarmament and Security Centre (DSC) is a not-for-profit charitable organisation established in 1998 in Christchurch. Today, it operates primarily as a virtual centre connecting disarmament experts, lawyers, political scientists, academics, teachers, students and disarmament proponents.
