Germany has a rich and varied history. Beer, Meat, Furs, Fairy-tales, Castles, Carnivals and more! In this course we look at Germany's heritage as a nation going from the edge of civilization to the centre of European affairs. From ancient Germania, through expansion and retraction as the Holy Roman Empire, dissolution into dozens of little states, rebuilding by different leagues, reunification, and driving several events of the 20th century.
