Come along and discover your creative side, yes we all have one!, as you try mindful mandala drawing. If you have a busy mind and struggle to stay focused in meditation this process can help.
The Mandala is used as a symbol for the universe in several different cultures and the balanced repetitive designs promote calm and help us get back to our centre. There will be an element of breath awareness as we start in a shared circle space (Pranayama practices). We will follow with a brief intro on the history & the benefits of Mandala creation. Then we will all have a go, no drawing experience or even artistic tendencies required.
Over the four weeks you will discover different techniques for drawing and decorating your own Mandalas and learn meditation practices that will enhance the relaxing and restorative benefits of this creative time. Expect to feel relaxed and centred with gentle music and allow yourself to enjoy some time for gentle reflection and stillness. Important:
